It’s (literally) less than two weeks before the release of Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece, but we haven’t heard much new music so far from the project with the exception of “Heartbeat Song.” That should change quickly in the next few days as Amazon is expected to release one song each day in the next week.
So, this weekend, Rihanna—queen of RnB/pop/dance, sometimes model and ultimate bad girl—casually dropped a new single, “FourFiveSeconds.” The song features Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney.

People are freaking out about the song, not just because it’s the first glimpse into Ri Ri’s next album, but also because it’s so different from what she’s done before. No thumpin’ beat, no heavy production. Just an acoustic guitar.

The song’s production seamlessly move from the emotional verses to the soaring chorus, which is easily its best part. “Love Me Like You Do / Love, Love, Love Me Like You Do,” Ellie sings against a pulsating, hypnotic beat.
