On July 20th, Saturday, I saw Bruno Mars at the Vancouver stop of the Moonshine Jungle Tour. In one word, the show was spectacular—so spectacular, in fact, that I think you’d be crazy to miss it when/if drops by your own city.
Here are 7 reasons why the Moonshine Jungle Tour is irresistible:
1. The opener
Ellie Goulding was an energetic and exciting opener. At the Vancouver stop, less than half of the attendees knew who Gouding was. But that didn’t stop the Brit pop star from performing her best. Loved her performance of “Anything Could Happen,” “I Need Your Love” and “Burn.” It was the final performance, “Lights,” that really got the crowd going though.
2. The slick production
From the siiiick lights to the well-timed entrances, the concert had no hiccups. Even the entertainment between Goulding’s and Mars’ sets was smooth and entertaining. The production didn’t distract from the music, and that’s a good thing.
3. The dancing
Mars’ set had super fun choreography. We’re not talking Britney-style dancing—just feel-good, make-you-wanna-smile moves. (Goulding showed some great moves, too.)
